Don’t Look is a 3D Horror video game using the Tobii Eye tracking technology. In Don’t Look, you play a child who went searching his dog, lost in a dark and mysterious underground complex. Within this place, you will have to explore each room and illuminate the environment using the flashlight the character holds. The specificity of Don’t Look comes from the eye tracking technology, thanks to which you can directly control the beam of your flashlight with your sight. The eye tracker enable us to track where the player’s gaze is on the screen and when his eyes are closed. Your gaze is directly used in the gameplay. Therefore, the character and the player’s fear of looking are directly linked. Be careful though, you will not be alone, creatures roam hidden in the shadows. The technology is the core of the experience and the gameplay itself : Looking is necessary to progress but dangerous at some places making the player fear looking at his screen.
