Figment: Creed Valley

Figment: Creed Valley is an encore to Figment. Dusty and Piper have restored peace in The Mind, however, a new adversary is threatening its balance. Our two heroes must travel to Creed Valley, where The Mind’s beliefs and ideals are formed, to face their most menacing and theatrical foe so far. The Moral Compass has been shattered and a once peaceful voice of the subconscious has broken loose. Face new enemies as you make your way through enigmatic challenges and explore The Mind’s two fundamental states: Open-minded and Closed-minded. Switch between states and adapt to the shifting environment to move forward.

Statement from Game and Sound Director, Niels Sørensen: With Figment: Creed Valley we aim to bring to life human experiences we all encounter and live through in a bright and musical universe. Imagine an internal Broadway adaptation for the turning points of your life.  Take a journey into an artistic interpretation of the human mind, talk to physical representations of opinions on various subjects and question your set of morals. Play as courage itself and face musical nightmares with their own theme songs as you delve deeper into the subconscious. Many of us are going through changes in our lives at the moment that alter how we perceive the world and ourselves. Figment: Creed Valley aims to deal with these emotions in a lighthearted and musical tone.

Meet the Makers:
“We first started as a student project back in 2011 with a then-prototype of our first game Back to Bed. After initial interest and investment, Bedtime became a full-fledged indie studio in 2014 after winning awards with the game (including the student award at IGF 2013). Since then we have published Chronology and Figment! Currently working on Figment: Creed Valley.”
