Chino Noris

Chino Noris is a research scientist and game developer at Studio Gobo. He studied computer science at ETHZ, and joined Disney Research Zurich as Ph.D. student in the animation group of Bob Sumner. His dissertation is about digital tools to assist hand drawn animation. Chino also worked at DRZ as postdoc researcher, focusing on augmented reality and leading a small team that produced AR applications and demos. He then joined Studio Gobo, where he worked as programmer. During the development of Disney Infinity 3.0 he worked with Daniel Zimmermann and the team that made the physically-based animation that drives the Star Wars AT-AT. Chino is interested in animation, games, and augmented reality. He lives in Zurich, has two cats, and his favorite videogame is Quake.
