Tobias Kopka is the conference & program director for Quo Vadis. Create. Game. Business, Berlin, one of Europe’s leading developer conferences – and of Respawn – Gathering of Game Developers, Cologne. Tobias loves to bring together diverse communities since he is running business, scientific or artistic game events for more than 10 years and loves to see new things emerging out of cross-referencing knowledge domains. Tobias in in the demoscene for more than 25 years, in tech for more than 15 years, extensively lecturing in higher education for more than 7 years and experiencing gaming for almost 30 years. Tobias holds an master in media studies, history and political science at University of Cologne, is educated as physical-technical assistant and is generally a guy basically interested in everything.
As speaker and moderator he focusses on ecosystems, cultural aspects on the business of communities, the demoscene and the international culture of games and digital media.
